Bad Mama

With yesterday starting the countdown to Christmas we opened our advent calendar. Yup, singular. Calendar. Just one; a large Playmobile one my Mom got for the kids to share... the cheap chocolate ones didn't seem necessary as the girls in particular complain about the quality of the $0.99 chocolate. Well. Billy was beside himself not to have his own calendar. His own chocolate calendar. Sigh. So today I took Wes into and out of SIX, yes 6 different stores in the Sanford/Springvale area. No luck. I came home and called 2 others. It is true that there are no chocolate filled advent calendars to be found on December 2nd. Sigh again. Guess I'm going to Portsmouth on Saturday....

    Sounds like you are a great mama to me if you are willing to search practically the whole state to find one. My mother in law bought our kids little felt ones that you fill with your own candy every year. Then you can get decent candy for them too! :)
