Mama's Sandbox

In all the time I've known Bill, he has never "hired" out a job. Not one thing, can I think of where he has spent $$ to have a project done. Short of having trees sawn, and a load of firewood here and there, he (or we, or Dad) has done everything around here! Up until now that is!

After he cleared the trees on my birthday, he worked to move some of the bank trying to gauge how much fill we had, and where the ledge might be...

Because we had some estimates done and hired a local guy to put in my arena!!! I'm so thrilled and beyond excited!

Work began today, and he is making it look so easy! I think the kids were beginning to be afraid they might spend the summer out there with buckets and shovels! I'm so glad that this is happening- it was so nice to be able to hire him, when it became clear that Bill's ability to do the job (well, really thr timeframe- it would have been a much longer process) and my goals were not going to mesh...

I'll be riding and teaching out here before you know it!
Many thanks to Sean Beamis- if you are local and need an excavator- I'd highly recommend him...
