Apple Picking

While Olivia was away at camp Meridian we scooted down to the orchard to get some apples... 71 lbs to be exact! It was a nice morning for picking, and while it is getting late in the season we still found plenty! There might have been more walking than Bill liked, but it's the process that's part of the fun anyhow.














I'll make pie, and apple sauce. I may try my hand at apple butter this year too. Wes and Wyatt each eat an apple a day (many days Wes has more than one!) so it won't take us long to get thru the haul! We missed having Olivia there to help, but she can make up for it in the eating!
